Meet Zoe
Nine years ago, I tenaciously choose a different educational path, put on a backpack, and travelled south through the Americas to settle in Ecuador. I put permaculture design principles to work to develop the homestead oasis I share with my family and 50 farm animals. Meeting the needs of so many living beings has been no easy feat, but I don’t go for easy. Bring on the complex problems and I design creative solutions.
During this time, I worked with my father, Dr. Andrew Loizeaux, PsyD P.C., a forensic psychologist and expert witness who specialized in complex PREs, often involving supplemental evaluations, re-location issues, interstate and international disputes, and child abductions. During our seven years working together, I assisted with 75 Parental Responsibility Evaluations, 69 Work Product Reviews and Consultations, and 5 Standard of Care Reviews. During our daily debriefs, I learned to evaluate complex family dynamics, analyze underlying issues, craft unique parental responsibility recommendations, and address the numerous conundrums that professionals face in family law.
When Dr. Loizeaux announced his retirement in the fall of 2022, I set my sights on obtaining relevant certifications to continue forensic work. I successfully completed the comprehensive training required to become a certified Child and Family Investigator. This solidified my skills and knowledge to conduct thorough investigations, evaluate family dynamics, and assess the well-being of children involved in legal proceedings. I gained a deep understanding of best practices, ethical considerations, and relevant laws and regulations that govern child and family investigations. Equipped through my seven-year apprenticeship and this specialized training, I am now well-prepared to serve as a trusted professional, advocating for the best interests of children and providing valuable insights to courts and other parties involved in complex parenting disputes
Recognizing the impact that conflict has on children, I pursued additional training in coaching techniques specifically designed to assist families during the separation process. My aim in coaching is to empower parents to find constructive resolutions, establish effective co-parenting arrangements, and create nurturing environments that promote the healthy development of their children.
Bring on the complex problems!
